Button Description
POWER Press the button to switch the device on
and off. After switching on the device, it
operates in continuous operation in
Venti-
lation mode.
LOW
MID
HI Set the intensity
– low (LOW), middle
(MID) or high (HI).
COOL Activate the COOL mode.
CLEAN Activate the CLEAN mode.
NOTICE! In CLEAN mode, the water
tank should be filled with clean water
and a suitable disinfectant and the de-
vice should be operated outdoors

TIMER Activate the TIMER function for a time
delay in the switching on and off of the
device.
15 Transport and
commissioning
The device has been assembled, configured and
tested at the factory. In order to avert the risk of
serious or fatal injury and damage to the device
during transport and installation, observe the follow-
ing:
– The device must be transported and installed by
a suitably qualified and authorised person.
– Transport routes must be sufficiently wide
enough to transport the device safely.
DANGER
Danger to life from electric shock
Touching live parts can be fatal.
a) Before transporting the device to a different
location, switch it off at the ON/OFF button and
disconnect it from the power socket.
b) Never pull the device by the mains plug and
always carry it using the handles.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to the device toppling
over
There is a serious risk of injury, if the device topples
over or falls during transport.
a) Wear safety footwear and protective gloves.
b) Use the transport castors and the handles pro-
vided for this purpose.
Unpacking
a) Open the packaging at the top.
b) Check the delivery for completeness.
Report any transport damage or incomplete de-
livery to your dealer.
c) Remove the protective foil from the control pan-
el.
d) Dispose of the packaging in accordance with
the applicable statutory regulations.
e) Make sure the power cord is not damaged.
Installing the device
When installing the device, please observe the fol-
lowing:
– Install the device in a position where the air flow
through the intake and outlet openings is not ob-
structed.
– Install the device at an adequate distance from
any sources of heat.
– Keep the device away from loose objects, includ-
ing curtains, etc.
– Place the device in a position where air circula-
tion is unobstructed; maintain a minimum dis-
tance of 60 cm and 50 cm to the nearest wall at
the air intake and outlet sides respectively.
– The device must be in a stable position and must
not fall over or roll away during operation.
– Apply and lock the transport castor brakes at the
installation location.
