(1) Stop lamp switch (A) Advance

Check the side stand for proper function.

SIDE STAND/SIDE STAND INDICATOR

Check the spring (1) for damage or loss of

tension and the side stand assembly for free

movement.

(1) Side stand spring

Check whether the side stand indicator (2)

glows when vehicle is parked on side stand.

(2) Side stand indicator

the side stand indicator should not glow.

If the side stand indicator does not operate as

described in steps 2 or 3, please visit your

Authorised

Hero MotoCorp

workshop.

CAUTION

Ensure that adequate care should be taken

while cleaning the side stand switch.

Headlamp adjustment is done by the

loosening the bolt (1) located below the

headlamp.

Adjust the headlamp beam by loosening the

bolt (1) and moving the headlamp unit

forward and backward for correct focus

adjustment.

HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT

Park the vehicle on level ground.

Headlamp is preset. However in case of

adjustment required, please follow the steps as

given below:
