Important!
Remove the label from the opening for the screwed con-
nection (005.1) in the filter casing (001). Then screw in the
screwed connection (005.1 and 005.2) in the filter casing
(001).
6.3
Adjusting the analogue pre-filter monitor
If the degree of contamination of the filter strainer (002) is
checked using an analogue pre-filter monitor with a shut-off
valve, the shut-off valve must be adjusted. Adjust it by setting
the locking indicator to the displayed value.
6.4
Operating modes and frequency of starting
All models are designed for operating mode S1 (continuous
operation) with a filled pump.
Notice!
Prolonged operation against closed gate valves heats up
the pumped medium and the pump.
Open the gate valves before operation.
Important!
Use a motor circuit breaker or corresponding motor protection
with a tripping characteristic according to DIN VDE 0660.
Do not exceed ten starting procedures per hour. This pre-
vents a sharp increase in temperature in the motor and an
excessive load on the pump, motor, seals and bearing.
Contact the respective manufacturer to find out the permis-
sible frequency of starting for any starter device.

Starting up
To start the pump
1. Close the gate valves and shut off cocks
of the manometer,
2. Switch on the motor,
3. Open the shut off cocks of the manometer.
Only open the gate valves slightly if the pressure pipe is
empty. If the pipe is full, open until the permissible motor load
is reached (compare the ammeter display with the details on
the motor name plate!).
