Disconnect the UV lamp plug connection (contacting).

Cautiously remove the UV lamp from the retainer.
Installing a new UV lamp

Establish the connection of the new UV lamp.
è
Insert the UV lamp into the retainer without canting it.
è
Tighten the knurled nuts of the lamp retainers.
è
Cautiously insert the lamp slide-in unit into the housing and screw it on.
Check the wiring when inserting the lamp slide-in unit.
If necessary, push projecting cables into the housing.
Do not route cables across the radiation area.
CAUTION! Make sure that cables are not squeezed by the hood.
Resetting the operating hours meter

Before closing the hood, switch the device on. This will not start the emission of UV
radiation.
Ensure that no unauthorised persons are within the immediate vicinity of the
device.

When a UV lamp is replaced, reset the operating hours meter with the
Reset operat-
ing hours
button.
To do this, keep the button pressed for about five seconds until the LED strip light is
lit up white.

Switch the device off before you close the hood.
è
Close the hood. The hood must engage audibly. The oblong holes of the hood must
completely surround the three screws at the device.
