WARNING
Hot surface
The lamp and surfaces exposed to radiation can get very hot during operation.
The radiation heats the components inside the housing.
Contact with the hot surface may cause burns.

Do not touch hot surfaces.

Allow the product to cool down before you open it to carry out maintenance
work (approx. 10 minutes).

Wear protective gloves.

NOTICE! Improper handling of the product may result in bodily injury and/or dam-
age to property.

Check the condition of the product at regular intervals.

Observe the colour of the LED strip light (device status).

Check light protection grid for soiling (visual inspection).
Maintenance and cleaning work can be carried out with the device mounted. The device
needs not be removed from the wall.
Cleaning the device

De-energise the device, pull the mains plug.

Clean the hood with a soft cloth.
If the soiling is severe, moisten the cloth and, if necessary, use a neutral cleaning
agent.
Do not
use scouring agents.
Water must not get into the device,
danger of short-circuit
.

Remove dirt from the light protection grid.
Replacing UV lamps
è
Replace the UV lamps if they have reached the end of their service life or if a UV
lamp is defective.
Always replace both UV lamps in such a case.
è
Always use gloves to touch a UV lamp.
Finger sweat on the quartz tube will cause reduction of radiation output
and premature failure of the UV lamp.
