15. EU Declaration of Conformity
Heraeus hereby declares that this product
complies with the Low Voltage Directive, the
EMC Directive and the RoHS Directive,
among others. If necessary, the full EU
declaration of conformity can be requested.
16. Liability and Quality Agreement
Heraeus ensures that Soluva
®
Products are
generally suitable for air disinfection. The
operating instructions contain information on
how to achieve the optimal disinfection
effect, i.e. how to treat as much air as
possible in the shortest possible time. The
disinfection effect depends in particular on
the placement of the product in the room,
the selected ventilation level, the geometry
of the room and the furniture in the room.
Please note that the disinfection effect of
the UV emitter kills microorganisms such as
bacteria and viruses in the irradiated air,
which can reduce the risk of infection.
However, the room in which the product is
operated is never completely sterile or
virus-free. The Soluva
®
products should be
used as a supplement to existing AHA
measures (distance, hygiene, everyday
mask), i.e. all other sensible hygiene
measures should also be used when using
the product.
17. Warranty Conditions
You receive a 2-year warranty on the
Soluva
®
Air T UV air purifier from the
date of purchase. The warranty is valid for
material and manufacturing defects. The
warranty excludes wear parts that are
exposed to normal wear and tear and
damage to fragile parts, such as UV lamp,
switches, lamps or other parts.
The original invoice is required as proof of
purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs
within 2 years from the date of product
purchase, the product will be repaired or
replaced at our discretion free of charge for
you.
This assumes that you provide the defective
product and original invoice within the
deadline along with a brief written descrip-
tion of the defect and when it occurred. If
the defect is covered by our warranty, you
will receive the repaired product or a new
product. The warranty is void if the product
is damaged or misused. For proper use of
the product, all the instructions given in the
operating manual must be strictly observed.
Uses and actions that are advised against or
warned against in the operating manual
must be avoided at all costs. Any repairs
required after the warranty period has
expired are subject to a charge. Repairing or
replacing the product does not start a new
warranty period.
