2. Open the top lid by sliding a narrow
object into the recess on the edge and
gently pulling until the lid pops open.

3. Remove the lid.
4. Loosen the two screws on the lamp base
with a Phillips screwdriver
(PH2) (Fig.

5. Squeeze the two retaining clips of the
plug together and carefully pull the plug
of the UV lamp connection cable out of
the socket

6. Pull the lamp out of the lamp housing
opening.

7. Open the lamp packaging at the top and
carefully pull the lamp out of the
packaging.
Attention!
Do not touch the glass tube of
the lamp with your fingers! Finger prints
on the glass tube leads to radiation loss
and premature UV lamp failure. Hold the
lamp only on the lamp base.
8.Carefully remove the bubble wrap.
9. Carefully insert the UV lamp into the lamp
housing.

10.Insert the plug of the UV lamp connec
tion cable back into the socket until the
plug clicks into place.

11.Retighten the two screws on the lamp
base.

12. Put the lid back on.

13. Reconnect the device to the power
supply.
14. Turn the device back on. When the unit
is back in normal operation, reset the
operating hour counter.
15. To reset the operating hours counter,
touch the fan speed control
(Fig. 2/F)
and the timer
(Fig. 2/B)
simultaneously
for 10 seconds. This resets the operating
hours counter and the status indicator
(Fig.3/C)
lights up the white status light
in the control panel
(Fig. 3/H)
for 5
seconds.
16.The device is now ready for use again.
11. Cleaning and Maintenance
1.Clean the housing of the device only with a
damp cloth or duster. Do not spray the
device with (flammable) cleaning agents to
avoid the risk of electric shock and/or fire.
2.From time to time, remove lint and dust
from the honeycomb grilles located below
the fan.
a.Disconnect the power cord from the
power outlet and from the device.
b.Turn the unit upside down and remove
the bottom cover by loosening the two
screws with a Phillips slot screwdriver.

c.Remove the bottom lid.
(Fig.6/B)
d.Pull the two honeycomb grids out of
their frames.
(Fig.6/C)
e.Using the crevice nozzle of your vacuum
cleaner remove the dust and any dirt on
the honeycomb grid

and on the
device
(Fig.6/D)
f.Put the honeycomb grids back into their
sockets.

g.Put the bottom lid back on and screw it
back in place.
