Noise data
The noise data* also refers to the aforementioned directive. Casing variations, unfavourable operating conditions and
many other things can lead to an increase in the specified catalogue values. Data that refers to certain distances (1 m,
2 m, 4 m) apply to free field conditions. With regard to installation, the sound pressure level can differ significantly from
the catalogue data, as it is highly dependent on the installation conditions, i.e. on the absorption capability of the room,
the room size among other factors.

Design
Series B VAR 280-1000 F300 / B VAR 500-1000 F400
The high-pressure in-line smoke extraction fan is a direct-driven fan where the motor is positioned in the airflow. The
air flow direction is blowing via the motor. The axial flow pattern allows a low-loss, linear airflow and ensures a high fan
efficiency. The cylindrical casing with flanges on both ends, integrated guide vane and motor support are made from
galvanised sheet steel.
The semi-axial impeller with eight curved blades is made from galvanised sheet steel or B VARD
280-315 F300 from aluminium. The dynamic balancing is carried out according to ISO 1940 T1, class 6.3.
Technical data:
IEC three-phase motors, 400 Volt, 50 Hz, IP 55, insulation class H
Series B VAR 500-1000 F600
Like above, but motor is encapsulated and additional supply air fan required.
Series B AVD 500-1250 F300 / F400

The high-performance impeller with nine profiled blades is made from aluminium. The dynamic balancing is carried out
according to ISO 1940 T1, class 6.3.

Series B AVD 500-1250 F600
The cylindrical casing with flanges on both ends, integrated guide vane and motor support are made from galvanised
sheet steel. The motor is encapsulated and an additional supply air fan required. The high-performance impeller with
five profiled blades is made from galvanised sheet steel. The dynamic balancing is carried out according to ISO 1940
T1, class 6.3.
Technical data:
IEC three-phase motors, 400 Volt, 50 Hz, IP 55, insulation class H
