NASIM REAR DIRECT VENT DECORATIVE GAS APPLIANCE

Step 3

Using the regulator replacement kit, follow the instructions (Steps 1-3 that come with the kit). After completion of

Step 3, return to these instructions.
Remove the tamper proof cover screw from the natural gas regulator (using snap ring pliers) and install the cover

screw onto the propane gas regulator.

Step 4. Remove the Logs

Follow the instructions on page 27 of this manual.

Step 5. Remove the Burner

Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the screw at the right end of the burner tube. Carefully pull the burner to the

right, off of the burner orifice underneath. Set the burner aside.

Step 6. Remove the Pilot Orifice

Loosen and remove the two screws on either side of the pilot. Lift the pilot hood and orifice seal off the base plate.

See Figure 32. Using needle nose pliers, remove the pilot orifice and replace it with the new orifice. Place the orifice

seal back over the orifice (Figure 33) and reattach the pilot hood by using the two screws removed earlier.
