E. Installing Vertical Termination Baf fl e
1. Remove the glass (refer to Section 12.H.) to access the
fi rebox and 5 in. inner fl ue.
2. Fold the baf fl e (Figure 5.17) to an approximate 90° angle
(see Figure 5.18).
3. Squeeze the open end of the bent baf fl e with one hand.
Insert the baf fl e bent side up into the inner fl ue so that
the bottom of the baf fl e is above the bead on the inside
of the collar. See Figure 5.19.
4. Release pressure on the baf fl e so that it is wedged against
the sides of the fl ue collar. See Figure 5.20.
5. Replace the glass (refer to Section 12.H.).
6. Start the appliance.
Note: For vertically terminated installations only.
