4.4 Prune Invalid
1. Press MENU, and then turn SELECT to < Prune invalid >, press SELECT to confirm.
2. Turn SELECT to ‘YES’, and press SELECT to confirm.
4.5 DRC (Dynamic Range Control)
You can set the level of the compression of stations to eliminate the differences in dynamic range or
sound level between radio stations.

a. Setting DRC to
off
indicates no compression.
b. Setting DRC to
low
indicates little compression.
c. Setting DRC to
high
shows maximum compression.

Note:
There are 3 options: Alphanumeric, Ensemble and Valid. # shows before the default of your setting
option to indicate the current station order.
STATION ORDER DESCRIPTION
Alphanumeric
Displays all stations in alphanumeric order.
Ensemble
Lists currently broadcasting active stations before inactive ones.
Valid
Removes inactive stations from the station list.
2. Turn
SELECT
to the option you want, press
SELECT
to confirm.
