2. Vacuum seal function
1)
Fill the vacuum bag with the food to be vacuum-sealed, and leave enough space for vacuum seal.
2)
Open the lid of the appliance, and place the open side of bag into the vacuum chamber. Make sure the
open side is all inside the foam gasket.
3)
Press the lid down firmly on both sides at the same time until you hear a click
, which indicates the lid is
completely locked.
4)
Connect the power cord to the appliance and power supply.
5)
Press the button “Food” to choose “Dry” or “Moist” according to the type of your food. Press the button
“Vac Seal”. The corresponding indicator light will light up. The aplliance begins with vacuum procedure.
Once it is done, it will stop automatically and the indicator will be off.
6)
Press the two release buttons to open the lid, take out the vacuum-sealed bag.
7)
Wait about 60 seconds before using the appliance again. Unplug the appliance after use.
3. Vacuum function (accessories are not provided with the appliance)
1)
Place the item you wish to seal inside a container/ vacuum bag, leaving at least 3cm space between the
contents and the top rim of the container.
2)
Insert an accessory hose into the air suction hole on your appliance.
3)
Insert another end of the accessory hose into the vacuum valve on the container lid/ vacuum bag, press
firmly on all corners to ensure lid is properly closed, then press “Vacuum” button to start vacuum process.
4)
Wait until the vacuum process stops automatically, now the lid can’t be opened, which means the air
was removed from the container.
5)
To release the vacuum in the container/vacuum bag, simply lifting the vacuum valve gently.
Note:
1)
Make sure the vacuum bag is not covering the air suction hole.
2)
Press the “Cancel” button to stop the appliance during any procedure.
Safety Protection:
The interval between two working cycles shall be about 60 seconds. The “Vac Seal” and “Seal” function will
start safety protection every 15 complete working cycles. The “Vac Seal” or “Seal” indicator light flashes, and
the appliance is forced to stop for 2 minutes before it can resume normal use.
VACUUM PACKAGING AND FOOD SAFETY
1)
The vacuum packaging process extends the life of foods by removing most of the air from the sealed
container, thereby reducing oxidation, which affects nutritional value, flavor and overall quality.
Removing air can also inhibit growth of microorganisms, which can cause problems under certain
conditions.
2)
To preserve foods safely, it is critical that you maintain low temperatures. You can significantly reduce
the growth of microorganisms at temperatures of 4°C (40°F) or below. Freezing at -17°C (0°F) does not
