INSTALLING THE BLADE (FIG. J, K)
To avoid injury from an accidental start, make sure
the switch is in the OFF position and the plug is
disconnected from the power source outlet.
1. Remove the table insert (7) by removing the two
screws (2). Be careful not to lose the rubber
adjusting spacers (8) that are on the back screws (2)
beneath the table insert. (Fig. J)
2. Place the blade onto the arbour with the blade teeth
pointing forward to the front of the saw.
3. Make sure the blade fits flush against the inner flange.
4. Clean the outer blade flange and install it onto the
arbour and against the blade.
5. Thread the arbour nut onto the arbour, making sure
the flat side of the nut is against the blade, then
hand-tighten.
6. Pull the motor locking lever (1) toward the front of
the machine while spinning the blade until the latch
locks into place and the blade will no longer turn.

7. Place the wrench on the arbour nut and turn
clockwise (toward the rear of the saw table).
8. Lower the blade to the down position. Replace the
table insert (7) and the blade guard. Thread the
screws (2) into the holes (9) of the table insert.
NOTE:
Keep the rubber adjusting spacers (8)
beneath the table insert.
IMPORTANT:
Do not operate this saw until the blade
and blade guard splitter are aligned and in working
order.
ASSEMBLING THE HANDWHEEL HANDLE (FIG. H)
Thread the handwheel handle (1) into the handwheel
hole (2), and then tighten the nut against the handwheel
with a 10 mm wrench.
NOTE:
If the handle bolt becomes
loose, remove the plastic end cap and this will allow you
to tighten securely.

INSTALLING THE REAR TABLE EXTENSION
(FIG. I, I-1)
1. Insert the two rear table extension tubes (2) into the
rear table extension (1).
NOTE:
They must be inserted into the back of the
extension with the bent end last so that the bar will
hold the extension in place. (Fig. I)
2. Snap two black plastic stops (4) over the two rear
table extension tubes (2). Make sure the locating pin
in the black plastic stops fits into the matching hole
in the extension tube. This will ‘lock’ the tube into the
extension.
3. Insert the rear table extension tubes (2) into the two
extension tube brackets under the table (3). Position
the rear table support so the hole for the rubber pad
(5) is between the extension and the table. (Fig. I-1)

4. Attach the rubber pad (5) to the inside of the rear table
extension (1). Thread the screw (6) thru the rubber
pad with the screwdriver. Tighten the screw(6).
5. Snap two black plastic stops (4) over the end of the
rear table extension tubes (2). Make sure the locating
pin in the location seats fit into the matching holes in
the extension tubes.
