11 Preparing for assembly

Any breaks in a core drilling must be repaired. Where
necessary, preserve or pre-treat the concrete around the
opening beforehand using a suitable liquid plastic or epoxy
resin (see
13 Impermeability test
"Potential causes of
leakage", point 8).

No sealing due to incorrect installation!
Incorrect preparation can result in damage.
• The inside of the wall sleeve must be clean, dry
and greaseless.
Check the diameter tolerance of the core drilling/liner
(D
+3/-1 mm)
and cables/pipes
(d +1/-2 mm)
(see fi g.: 1) as
well as outer or drilling dimension
(siehe Tabelle 1)
of the
press seal (see fi g.: 2).

NOTE!
Continuous longitudinal score marks on the
cables!
There must not be any continuous longitudinal score
marks on the cables in the seal area.
• If necessary, move the cables slightly forwards or
backwards until there are no longitudinal score
marks visible.
