OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES
Non-Adjustable Stands
Aluminum, non-adjustable 406 mm (16″) stands are available
as options for the permanent mounting of GM5AH and GM5AHL
Series strip heaters to a countertop.
1. Determine the exact mounting location on the countertop
for the unit. Refer to “Installation Site Requirements” in the
INSTALLATION section of this manual.
2. Prepare the location of each stand mounting flange on the
mounting surface. It is recommended to use the included
template for best results.
a. Lay the included template on the countertop in the
mounting location for mounting hole and conduit hole
locations. Use the “Stand Mounting Measurements”
table and the illustration for mounting dimensions, if the
template is not available.
b. Verify which stand will have the conduit and LED wire
leads passing through it and the mounting surface.
c. If necessary, remove the backing from the template and
carefully lay the template onto the mounting surface at
its appropriate position.
d. Drill holes through the approriate locations on the
template based on the unit size.
e. Remove the template from the countertop, if necessary.
3. Feed the conduit and LED wire leads from the unit through
the conduit hole, and position the unit on the countertop.
4. Fasten the stands to the countertop using appropriate
fasteners (not supplied by Hatco). Each mounting flange
has two mounting hole locations.
5. Route the element wire leads and LED wire leads toward
the installation location for the control box. Refer to the
INSTALLATION section of this manual for control box/
control installation.
NOTE: Mounting hole size will be determined by fastener size.
