HOPPER OPTION
Step 25
Locate the Tube Connection Hopper (PN 1300030911-00). Slide the Tube Connection Hopper into
the Hopper Clamp and align the key stock welded to the bottom of the Tube Connection Hopper to
the slot in the bottom of the Hopper Clamp (see Figure 25.1). Tighten the bolts on the Hopper Clamp.
Step 26
Remove the nuts from the Hanger Flight Hopper connection with the Hopper Throat. Open the door
on top of the Hopper Throat and align the Stub Transition Hopper, Hanger Flight Hopper, and
Transition Flight. Slide the Stub Transition Hopper through the Hanger Flight Hopper and insert into
the Transition Flight end. Secure it using (1) 1/4" x 1/4" x 1-1/2" Key, (1) 5/16" x 1-1/4" Socket Screw,
and (1) 5/16" Flange Lock Nuts (see Figure 26.1). Close the door on the Hopper Throat. Connect the
Tube Connection Hopper to the Hopper Throat with (6) 3/8" x 1" Flange Lock Bolts and (6) 1/2"
Flange Lock Nuts. Place the nuts on the bolts for the Hanger Hopper Flighting connection with the
Hopper Throat (see Figure 26.2). Fasteners can be found in bolt bags (PN 1300060250-00 and PN
1300060251-00).
