1 Blade angles must be within
specified tolerance
between blades.

Refer to a certified propeller repair station
with the appropriate rating to check/adjust
blade angles.
(h) Spinner for cracks, improper installation, or "wobble"
during operation
(i) Static balance
(j) Propeller installation (-1, -2, -4 propellers only)
1 Remove and reinstall the propeller 180 degrees
from the original installation position.

"R" flange propellers installed on a

that has an "R"
flange cannot be reinstalled

(k) Hub damage or cracking
(l) Grease or oil leakage
(m) Blade deformation
(2) Dynamic Balance
(a) Dynamic balancing is recommended after installing
or performing maintenance on a propeller. While
this is normally an optional task, it may be required
by the engine or airframe manufacturer to make
certain the propeller/engine combination is balanced
properly before operation.
