Step 4. Place the small firewood 

After approximately 10 more minutes, or when the kindling has begun to col-

lapse on itself, add the pieces of small dry firewood, placing them towards the 
back of the firebox. Close the door. 

Step 5. Place the firewood 

After approximately 15 more minutes, or when the small firewood has begun 

to break down into large embers, place you normal firewood towards the back 
of the firebox. After 5 minutes, you can turn the air setting to the desired set-

ting.
