Other RoHS and REACH type regulations
Harmonic will comply with RoHS and REACH type regulations evolving in other countries, if they become
relevant to our products or in markets where we sell our products.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Review the European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive.
European Parliament and the Council of the European Union’s WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) came into
force on August, 2005 and, were more recently amended in July, 2012. This directive encourages the
reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE and to improve the environmental performance of all operators
involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment, especially those dealing with WEEE.
