The Wizard™ CompactDry™ Reader does not store data directly on the unit. Data 

will need to be stored using a USB thumb drive, or direct to a PC or LIMS option. 

There are three USB ports available. The USB port located on the front of the ma-

chine is recommended for ease of access.

In order to prevent errors in data, please use the “Remove USB” function 

located on the home screen to safely remove your USB device.

Select “Remove USB” from the Home Screen.

Confirm it is safe to remove the USB flash drive by checking the USB status in the 
bottom left hand corner of the Home Screen.

  Once status reads “USB is unmounted,” it is safe to remove your USB device.
