READ SCREEN (Post Reading) 

After the image has been read, The Wizard™ CompactDry™ Reader will automatically 

direct you to the Post Read Screen.

Read Initiated

 – Can be used to re-read the plate if edits are applied.

Perimeter Marks

 – The perimeter of the plate is detected and marked in red.

Colony Marks

 – Colonies are circled in a specific color.  The color and design of the 

marker can be changed in the Markers Screen (see pg. 13).

Unknown Colony Marks

  – The Unknown Colonies are marked with an “x” by  

default and counted separately.  The color and design of the marker can be 

changed in the Markers Screen. Unknown count is recorded for any debris or  
particulate that is on the plate. This function is turned off by default.
