Menu 3.2 Flow calibration
Which method to use
The flow sensor can be calibrated theoretically or with two practical
methods. The practical methods are preferred. Calibration is done with
clean water. The Flow Tank method is time consuming, but is more
accurate than the Flow Nozzle method.
When changing to nozzles with more than a 100% increase or decrease
in output, it is recommended to recalibrate the flow sensor.
Calibration is recommended to be done at least once during the
spraying season.
Menu 3.2.1 Flow constant
Use the navigation keys to change the flow constant theoretically.
÷
NOTE! The default value is 60.00.
Approximate PPU values for different flow housings are as follows in the
table. Different flow housings are designated by grooves (A).
÷
NOTE! PPU indicates the number of pulses, which theoretically come from the flow sensor, whilst 1 litre of liquid
passes through.
÷
NOTE! Use the table in the back of this book to record your values for later use.
