WALL CONTROL WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: If you are not sure if the outlet box is
grounded, contact a licensed electrician for
advice, as it must be grounded for safe
operation.
WARNING
To avoid possible electrical shock, be
sure electricity is turned off at the main
fuse box before hanging.
1. With electrical power still disconnected,
remove the existing wall plate and switch.
Using wire nut supplied with 3-speed wall
control (I), connect black wire from 3-speed
wall control (I) to black house supply (hot).
Connect other black wire from 3-speed wall
control (I) to black wire leading to outlet box.
Lastly, connect green wire from 3-speed wall
control (I) to ground wire leading to ceiling
outlet box. (Fig. 1)
2. Attach 3-speed wall control (I) to outlet box
(not included) using the two screws provided
with the 3-speed wall control (I). Attach wall
plate to the switch control front using the two
small screws provided with the 3-speed wall
control (I). (Fig. 2)
