INSTRUCTION MANUAL
MAINTENANCE & STORAGE

Please ensure the fan is turned off prior to cleaning.
•
Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan
•
Do not immerse the fan in water and do not allow water to
drip into the motor housing. The product is suitable for indoor
installation only.
•
Do not use gasoline / paint thinner or other chemicals to
clean the fan.
•
To clean the fan blade use an object such as a screw driver
to disengage the hooks (8 in total) holding the front of the
grille to the rear.
•
Carefully remove the front grille and wipe the blades clean.
•
Re-assemble the grille by clicking the hooks back into place.
•
Cover the fan to protect it from dust and store in a cool, dry
place.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If the supply cord is damaged on arrival it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, or a similarly qualified individual. If a power cord is
subsequently damaged by the client the manufacturer will not be able to
replace the cord.
The unit must not be used before suitable instalaltion (see overleaf).
Do not hang anything from the guard
The pedestal fan should be placed on steady, level ground. The wall fan
should be installed approximately 2.5m above the floor.
Do not insert fingers or any foreign objects into the guard. The appliance is
not designed for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities. Children and infants should be supervised at all times when
within the same proximity as the product.

WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed for 1 year (12 months) from the date of purchase.
The warranty is a repair or replacement warranty. To be entitled to a warranty
claim the consumer must contact the authorised Fanco retailer (the place of
purchase) in writing as soon as they are aware of the fault, and provide the
following information;
a. The original dated proof of purchase (i.e. purchase receipt) from an
authorised Fanco retailer
b. Details of the nature of the fault
c. If possible and relevant, photographs may also be requested.
The consumer may be required to return the item to the place of purchase for
testing when advised.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure.
This warranty is valid in Australia ONLY
What is not covered by the product warranty:
The Warranty covers only defects due to manufacturing faults, and therefore
does not include defects caused by misuse, transport damage, modification
or alterations made to the products, incorrect installation, installation by
unauthorised or unqualified personnel, water damage, damage caused
by alternative power systems (for example: solar inverters etc), lack of
maintenance or cleaning of the product.
The Warranty only covers products that have been installed and operated
within the guidelines specified by Fanco, and within the correct operating
voltage range as stated on the product’s rating label. The Warranty covers
only the product, no additional expenses, including but not limited to; freight
costs to return a faulty item and to send out a repaired/replacement item, any
costs associated with installation or removal of the original item or repaired/
replacement item, any expenses incurred by the consumer in making the
warranty claim.
