“OFF” (off) position
Turn the handle to the “OFF” position whenever shutting
down the engine for more than a few minutes.

CAUTION
When the motorcycle is turned off, the carburetor
may become excessively refueled or fuel may even
flow into the engine if the fuel cock handle is
constantly kept at the “ON” position. Starting the
engine in this condition may severely damage the
engine.

The operation of the gearshift is as shown above. After
a speed is chosen, the gear shift lever will automatically
return to its original position for next gear shifting.
When stopping, change the gear directly from the fourth
to neutral; when driving, you do not do that; and instead,
if necessary, change the gear gradually from the higher to
lower and finally neutral.
Reduce speed before down-shifting.
And then pedal
down the pedal rod at the rear part of the gear rod
while slightly increasing the rotation speed of the engine
before the gear rod spontaneously restores to the original
position.
Increase speed before up-shifting. And then pedal down
the pedal rod at the fore part of the gear rod while slightly
decreasing the rotation speed of the engine before the
gear rod spontaneously restores to the original position.
When change the gear according to the steps above,
unnecessary wear on the drive train components and the
rear tire can be prevented.

CAUTION
Before shifting, close throttle grip completely.
REAR ABSORBER SPRING ADJUSTMENT
The rear absorber spring pre-load is adjustable to
compensate for rider, load, driving style and road
conditions.
The spring pre-load is adjustable to five
positions.
Twist the spring tension ring to the desired
position with the spring adjuster.
