Two-level cooking
You can set two different cooking levels – e.g.
when you first wish to defrost a dish at a high
power then finish the cooking process at a
lower power.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The grill rack is not suitable for pure
microwave mode.

Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode, convection mode or micro-
wave-combi mode.
If you wish to cook at two levels,
you cannot select an automatic pro-
gramme.
Example:
You want to initially defrost a dish
that you had frozen for 5 minutes, and then
complete the cooking process in 7 minutes
with 80% microwave power.
1. Place the dish in the cooking chamber and
close the cooking chamber door (7).
2. Press the button (16)
twice
.
The indicators
and
as well as
dEF2
will illuminate on the display (2).
3. Set the desired defrosting time with the
(18) or (19) buttons.
4. Press the button (15).
5. The indicator
will illuminate on the
display (2) and the power level indicator
P100
(=100 % microwave power) will be
displayed.
6. Press the button (19).
The display changes to
P80
.
7. Press the button (17) to confirm the set-
ting.
8. Set the cooking time using the (18) or
(19) buttons.
9. Press the button (17) to confirm the set-
ting and start the programme.
The programme begins. On the display (2)
the required defrosting time will count
down.
When the defrosting time has elapsed and
the cooking time begins, a short beep will
sound before the cooking process begins.
You can extend the defrosting time
and cooking time as described in
section (see “Extending the cooking
time” on page EN-17).
5 beeps will sound once the cooking time has
elapsed.
