Requirements
– You have read chapter „For your safety“ on
page GB-4 and understand all the safety
notices.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly“ on page
GB-11.
Switching the appliance on
and off
• To switch the appliance on, briefly touch
the sensor (18) . The sensors (18)
and (15) light up; sensor (17) and
the first two bars of the fan speed selec-
tor (16) flash, and the
F2
indicator flashes
on the display (13). The fan starts. After a
few seconds the sensor (17) , the first
two bars of the fan speed selector (16)
and the display indicator light up.
• To switch the appliance off, briefly touch
the sensor (18) . All lights go out; the
fan stops.
Setting the fan speed
The fan speed selector (16) allows the fan
speed to be set at 8 different levels.
The fan speed can only be set if the
appliance is switched on.
If fan speed 7 or 8 are selected, the appliance
automatically slows down to speed 6 after 7
minutes.
Fan speed settings are not maintained when
the appliance is switched off.
• To set the desired fan level, touch the
slider (16) in the region of the desired fan
level. The corresponding number of bars
and the indicator will start flashing and the
fan noise will change. After a few seconds
the bars and the indicator will light up.
