Requirements
– You have read the chapter entitled „Safety“
on page GB-4.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly“ on page
GB-15.
Activated charcoal filter
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• For the source of supply, please see
chapter „Our Service Centre“ on page
GB-19.
• To insert „Installing/replacing activated
charcoal filters (only for circulation air op-
eration)“ on page GB-11.

The cover

will open, the fan will run for
a few seconds at the highest setting and
will then regulate itself down to the lowest
setting, and the light will switch on.
• To switch off, press the button

The light will switch off and the cover

will close.
Fan
Your exhaust hood fan has four settings. At
the lowest setting, 2 of the bars will be illu-
minated, 4 bars on the next-highest setting,
then 6 and at the highest setting 8.
When you switch the appliance on, it will run
for a few seconds at the highest setting be-
fore it automatically regulates downward to
the lowest setting. During the setting process,
the indicator lights will flash

as well as
the bars, initially all 8 and then 2.
1. Touch the fan pre-selector

in the area
that corresponds approximately to the de-
sired fan strength.
The corresponding number of bars and
the button

will illuminate and flash
for a few seconds.
2. To change the fan strength during oper-
ation, repeat step 1 with the desired fan
strength.
