Installing the water filter
Carry out the installation process carefully
and follow the instructions here.

Errors while mounting the water filter
on a wall may result in severe injury or
death.

Wall mounting of the water filter may
only be carried out by an expert.
■
Make sure that the wall is capable of
bearing the weight and that there are
no cables or pipes in the drilling are-
as. Before you drill, use a metal detec-
tor to check the applicable areas.

Wall mounting
To mount the water filter (43) on a wall, you
will need the following tools (not included in
package contents):
– Drill
– Cross-head screwdriver
– Measuring stick
– Level
– Pencil
Installation must only occur on a suit-
able, non-hollow (solid) wall. Special
wall plugs or anchors may be necessary for
drywall. Consult with an expert. We recom-
mend installing it beneath a sink.

1. Determine the installation height of the
water filter (43).
The white appliance hose (56) must be
able to reach the water filter.
If the white appliance hose is too short,
extend it by using the blue extension
hose (57) (see “Extending the appliance
hose” on page EN-40).
2. Mark two points on the wall that are at
the previously determined height. The
distance between the points should be
14.9 cm. Use the measuring stick, pencil
and level to do this.
3. Use a metal detector to check the drill
areas. If there are, select another location
for assembly.
4. Drill a hole about 25 mm deep in each
marked position using a masonry drill.
5. Place the wall plugs (50) into the holes.

6. Screw the wall brackets (48) tightly onto
the wall with the screws (49). Use the
cross-tip screwdriver.
