 Quick freezing / Quick 
refrigerating

The appliance lets you select the lowest re-
frigerating and/or freezing temperature in a 
quick and easy way via the “Quick freezing” 
and “Quick refrigerating” settings.

After 26 hours, the appliance automatically 
switches back to normal mode. You can also 
end “Quick freezing” and “Quick refrigerating” 
manually.

Select the (18) QUICK FRZ setting “Quick 
freezing” to pre-chill the freezer area before 
storing food there or to freeze fresh food.
1. Press the (32) MODE selection button 

enough times until the   QUICK FRZ 
symbol appears on the display. The (17) 
signal indicates the temperature setting 

−

24 °C for the freezer.

2. Once the temperature in the freezer is 

−

18 °C (check with a fridge/freezer ther-

mometer), you can store the frozen food 
in the freezer.

3. If the freezer temperature is 

−

22 °C, you 

can store fresh foods. The temperature in 
the freezer rises temporarily.

4. After 12 hours, the goods are frozen 

to the core. Press the MODE selection 
button enough times until the   QUICK 
FRZ symbol disappears from the display. 
“Quick freezing” is switched off.

Select the (19) QUICK REF “Quick refriger-
ating” setting when you would like a can you 
have put in the fridge to be cooled faster, for 
example.
1. Press the (32) MODE selection button 

enough times until the   QUICK REF 
symbol appears on the display. The (20) 
signal indicates the temperature setting 
2 °C for the fridge.

2. As soon as the contents of the refrigerator 

have cooled sufficiently, press the MODE 
selection button enough times until the 
QUICK REF symbol disappears from the 
display.
“Quick refrigerating” is switched off.

You can set “Quick freezing” and “Quick re-
frigerating” at the same time.

enough times until the   QUICK FRZ and 

 QUICK REF symbols appear on the 

display.

freezing”, press MODE selection button 
enough times until the   QUICK FRZ and
