accumulated in 
the fridge at the 
bottom.

The thaw water drain (7) 
is blocked.

Unblock the thaw water drain with the help 
of the supplied cleaning tool (see “Defrosting 
and cleaning the inner compartment” on 
page EN-20).

Appliance is 
making a noise.

Operating noises are 
functional and are not a 
sign of malfunction.

Quiet humming: Refrigeration unit is running.
Humming: Refrigerant is flowing through the 
pipes.
Clicking: Compressor is switching on or off.

Noises caused by 
vibration.

Check that it is stable.
Remove any objects from the appliance.
Remove any foreign matter from the back of the 
appliance.
