Transport
CAUTION

moving the appliance.

If the appliance is tilted, lubricant from
the compressor may get into the cool-
ing circuit.

Do not tilt the appliance more
than 45°.

Allow the appliance to stand for ap-
prox. two hours after transport and
before connecting. This allows the lu-
bricant enough time to fl ow back into
the compressor.
Unpacking
WARNING
Risk of suffocation!
Children can become entangled in the
packaging fi lm.

Do not allow children to play with the
packaging fi lm.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The housing can be damaged if the
packaging is carelessly removed.

Do not use sharp or pointed objects
to unpack it.
1. Remove all parts of the packaging, plastic
profiles, tape and foam padding.

2. Remove the transport safety devices (18)
and save them for later use. They help
prevent door seals from being pushed to-
gether too much during transport.
3. Check that the delivery is complete.
4. Check whether the appliance was dam-
aged during transit.
5. If the delivery is incomplete or the appli-
ance has been damaged during transport,
please contact our service department
(see page EN-29).
Suitable location
– To prevent an ignitable gas-air mixture
from forming in the event of a leakage in
the refrigeration circuit, the installation site
must have a volume of at least 1.7

m³.
– The following
minimum distances
must
be observed for the installation location:
– 70 cm above;

cm behind and on the sides.
– The surface must be level and firm
enough to support the appliance’s weight
when fully laden.
– Always ensure that the ambient tempera-
ture for the location remains in the spec-
ified range (see “Climate classes” in the
product data sheet at the end of this user
manual). Otherwise, this can then lead
to an increase in temperature inside the
freezer.
