Changes and repairs to the
appliance may be carried
out only by authorised spe-
cialists, such as our Service.
Unauthorised repairs to the
appliance can cause pro-
perty damage and personal
injury, and invalidate liabili-
ty and warranty claims.

Never open the housing.
■
Do not attempt to repair an
appliance which is defecti-
ve or could be defective.
■
This appliance contains
electrical and mechanical
parts which are essential
for protection against po-
tential sources of danger.
Only parts corresponding
to the original appliance
specifi cations may be used
for repairs.
■
Do not connect to a power
strip, multiple socket outlet,
timer or to a separate re-
mote-controlled system for
distance monitoring and
control.
■
The ON/OFF switch does
not disconnect the applian-
ce from the mains. Ensure
you only plug the applian-
ce into an easily accessib-
le socket so that it can be
quickly disconnected from
the mains in the event of a
fault.
■
The appliance must always
be disconnected from the
mains if it is not supervised
and before assembly, disas-
sembly or cleaning.
■
Always pull the mains plug
out of the socket,
–
when the appliance is not
in use;
–
if a malfunction occurs;
–
if there is a storm with
thunder and lightning.
■
Do not put any objects in
or through the housing
openings and ensure that
children cannot insert any
objects in them.
■
Keep the appliance, the
mains plug and the mains
cord away from open fl a-
mes and hot surfaces.
