2) Interior
- Remove and clean periodically frost of rotor & chamber for the efficient
cooling.
- Off power switch and remove frost with dry cloth
- Clean the chamber with soaked sponge or cloth and dry completely after
removing frost.
3) Shaft
- Shaft must be kept clean, the unstable rotation by contaminant of shaft
causes imbalance.
- Take rotor out of shaft and clean with dry fabric to remove water after
operation and keep dry.
- Weight of rotor causes deformation of shaft, which must be separated
and cleaned and kept upside down.
-
As rotor tightly sticks with shaft, don’t remove forcibly, only use the
specialized rotor removing tool.
4) Rotor
①
Corrosion & surface treatment
- Acid or basic agent causes damage. Imbalance of rotor weight by
corrosion incurs heavy vibration & noise, eventually the physical damage.
- Anti-corrosive rotor may be affected by humidity, salt content and
impurity in air.
- Rotor is resistant to neutral aqueous solution like carbonate, chromate,
acetate and sulfide, but not to chloride agent. Also corrosion gets faster
By increase of hydrogen ion content and eroded by sulfuric and
phosphoric and faster in hydraulic acid.
②
Maintenance
- Cleaning; remove sample in tube with soft fabric soaked with warm water
avoid scratch on the specially treated rotor surface.
- Drying; dry narrow groove of rotor, more efficiently with hair-drier.
- Keeping; Clean & dry place, separate lid of angle and keep upside down.
③
Sterilization of rotor
Every rotor, lid, bucket adapter can be sterilized at 121
℃
for 20 min.
