Step 6
Make a template for drilling two holes (each side)
in the fuselage where the exhaust system will be
mounted. You need two templates.
1. One for the right side of the fuselage
using the right stacks, and,
2. One for the left side using the left
stacks.
Make a note on each to indicate
FRONT
for
proper positioning into the cut-out in the fuselage.
Remove the stacks from the shroud and trace
around the shroud. Fit the stacks back into the
shroud and position over the tracing using a square
to get it directly over the tracing.
With the stacks and shroud positioned exactly over
the trace, scribe around the stand-offs to make two
circles on the trace.
Step 7
Make a dot exactly in the center of the two circles.
This will be where you drill when the template is
installed into the fuselage.
They will not interchange!
Cut around the outside perimeter of your trace and
place into the correct cut-out in the fuselage.
