Step 4
Make the hole in the fuse for the inlet pipe on the
stacks.
To do this, lay the stacks with the shroud onto the
hole you just cut with the inlet pipe sticking up so
you can see where to make your marks for the hole
in the engine compartment.
Make this hole with the Dremel® tool (it doesn’t
have to be perfect).
Step 5
When you are done with both sides as described in
all the previous steps, you should have two holes,
as shown and you should have cut out both
openings in the side of the fuselage for the stacks.
Now the opening for the exhaust stacks in the side
of the fuselage should be framed in where there
are unneeded openings. The opening should be
coated with epoxy for fuel proofing.
Silver paint can also be applied to the edge of the
openings for a better finish.
