Chapter 1: Getting Started

This User Guide introduces some of the basic concepts of your
HandEra 330, including its physical buttons and controls. The User
Guide also explains how to use your handheld for the first time.

What is a HandEra handheld computer?

Your HandEra handheld computer is a very powerful tool – it allows
you to:

♦

Schedule meetings and appointments in a Date Book. Schedule
details can be viewed by the day, week, or month. An alarm
can be set to remind you of important meetings or events.

♦

Enter contact names, addresses, telephone numbers, and other
details in the Address Book.

♦

Keep track of your tasks and other items in a To Do List and

assign tasks a due date.

Your HandEra handheld computer also supports expansion slots,
which allow you to store data and make it possible to transfer data
easily to a desktop computer.
