INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL FAN

1. Remove the Top Control Panel assembly by removing the 3 screws, and
install the fan speed controller onto the control panel and secure with
nut. Connect the two fan speed controller wires to the two available wire
connectors.
2. Reinstall the Top Control Panel assembly with the 3 screws, and push
black control knob onto fan speed controller.
3.Remove the rear fan access panel by removing the 6 screws.
4. Install the power cord onto the unit. Pass the end of the cable through
the hole in the back cover panel, leaving about 8 inches of cable inside
the unit. Clamp the plastic wire strain relief grommet onto the power cord
and push it into the hole from the outside to secure the cord in place.
5. Secure power cord ground wire (green) to ground lug as shown in Fig 9.

6. Connect the black wire with male connector from the power cord
to the black wire with female connector from the unit.

7. Secure green ground wire from fan assembly to ground lug as
shown in Fig 9.
8. Install fan into unit by aligning the two rubber grommets on the
fan assembly with the two upright pins on the unit and lowering
into place to secure.

9. Connect the white wire from the unit and the remaining black
wire from the power cord to the two connector pins on the fan
assembly. Tidy excess length of ground wire using the supplied
plastic cable tidy clip.

10. Reinstall the rear fan access panel with 6 screws to complete
installation.
NOTE:
When power cord is plugged in, speed control is in the
ON position and stove is burning, allow 10-15 minutes for the
thermodisc (temperature switch) to activate and turn on the fan
automatically.

your protection against shock hazard and should be plugged directly
into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle. Do not cut or remove
the grounding prong from this plug.
Removing the Fan
1. Unplug or disconnect power source to stove.
2. Reverse steps 7 to 10 from “Installing the Optional Fan” instructions
above.
Servicing the Thermodisc
To replace or service the fan thermodisc (temperature switch), use the
following steps:
1. Unplug or disconnect power source to stove.
2. Remove two screws from the lower left and lower right areas of the
back cover panel.
3. Lift the back cover panel up and pivot out away from the
unit. Take care note to pull on the wires attached to the
back cover panel.
NOTE:
When servicing the thermodisc ensure you do not
damage the air intake flex tubes.
