5. Part names and functions
5-1 Front panel

Display panel Displays irradiation time, total lamp ON time, errors, etc.

Error display
Flashes when an error occurs.

MENU button
Use to switch between display units and digit for irradiation time
setting.

DOWN button
Use to change the time or units for irradiation time setting.
⑤
UP button Use to change the time or units for irradiation time setting.
⑥
MODE button Use to select irradiation mode. (Button is lit in AUTO mode.)
⑦
ON/OFF button Use to turn the lamp on or off. (Button is lit when the lamp is lit.)

POWER switch
Pressing the “I” side of this switch turns on power.

Duct connection port
Connect this port to a local exhaust ventilation system or an ozone
decomposition unit E12685 (sold separately), and exhaust the
internal air at an airflow rate of 0.25 to 0.35 m

per minute.

Sample chamber door
Door for inserting or removing a sample. The lamp won’t light up
when this door is open.
