(3) EXT.GATE
This mode is usable with any combination regardless of what plug-in module is
connected. In this mode, the streak tube operates only during any desired time period.
This operation is shown in the timing chart below.
The gate opens on the rising edge of a pulse input via the GATE TRIG IN connector,
and closes on the falling edge. Input the pulses at the timing that matches the type of
measurement.
During this mode, only the MCP gate operates and the photocathode gate remains
open.
10-6 DELAY
The delay can be set on synchroscan units such as M10911-01, M10911-03, M10915-01,
etc. Delay periods of one cycle or more can be set with a plug-in unit alone. The control
value range is from 0 to 65 535.
10-7 TRIGGER MODE
"TRIG. MODE" can be selected only with single-sweep units (M10912-01, M10913-01,
M10913-11, M10916-01, M10916-02, M10916-03 etc). There are two settings available
with the Trigger Mode: "Continuous mode" and "Single mode".
10-7-1 CONTINUOUS MODE
This mode allows automatically accepting the next sweep trigger whenever the next sweep
can start after finishing the sweep from the previously received sweep trigger. Continuous
operation can be performed by sweep triggers only.
