Air inlet

This is the inlet for the heat ventilation.

•

Make sure a space of at least 10 cm is available at the back of the unit for
ventilation.

•

In order to prevent an internal rise in heat, do not cover these holes.

Note 2: Supplementary description
Currently, checking the frequency at which the streak camera is actually operating requires
hooking an oscilloscope or a frequency counter to the REPETITION CHECK terminal. The
output from this terminal is synchronized with the sweep. Inputting a high repetition signal of
more than 4 MHz may sometimes make it difficult to get stable repetition in the output signal
due to repetition limits. If that happens, then turning the STABILITY control slightly will make
a small change in the repetition limit to allow the sweep in synchronization with a repetition
frequency up to a maximum of 4 MHz in the fastest range. The maximum repetition
frequency that can be input to the trigger signal input terminal is 100 MHz. Inputting a
repetition frequency higher than this may cause faulty operation so use caution.
