10. Alarm clock

The radio has two individually adjustable alarm times.

10.1 Settings

You can access the alarm settings as follows:

Press [ ] (4) to access the Settings menu.

Use [

NAVIGATE/ENTER

] to navigate to the menu item

"Main menu" -> "Routine" -> "Alarm clock".

Alarm 1 and alarm 2 are configured identically and allow

two separate alarm times to be saved. Choose Alarm 1

or 2 and confirm your selection by pressing [

NAVIGATE/

ENTER

].

Set the following details using [

NAVIGATE/ENTER

].

Repeat:

Choose when the alarm is to activate:

Off – Daily – Once – Weekdays – Weekends

Alarm time:

First choose the hour, then the minute at which the alarm

is to activate.

Set whether you wish to be woken by an alarm tone

(

Buzzer

), by

DAB

or by

FM

.

Preset:

If you selected

DAB/ FM

, choose which station you wish to

be woken with. You can choose any of the 30 preset slots

or the

Last listened

.

Volume:

You can set the volume at which the alarm sound should

be played. This setting makes it irrelevant how loud you

last listened to the radio.

Saving:

Select

Off / On

to complete your alarm settings.

Note

It is recommended to allow the device to update the

time automatically. This ensures that the time is always

correct even if there is a separation of power supply – for

example a power cut.

10.2 Activating / deactivating the alarm

Activate the alarm by confirming the settings with

Alarm

on

.

Disable the alarm by setting the

Mode

"Alarm off"

.

10.3 End alarm

When the alarm activates, press [

POWER/VOLUME

] to

end the alarm.

11. Other system settings
11.1 Time/ Date settings

To access the time settings, proceed as follows:

Press [ ] (4) to access the Settings menu.

Use [

NAVIGATE/ENTER

] (9) to navigate to the menu

item "Settings" -> "System settings"

-> "Time/date"

Confirm the selection by pressing [

NAVIGATE/ENTER

].

Use [

NAVIGATE/ENTER

] to navigate to the "Automatic

update" menu item.

Auto update

Update from DAB / FM

If automatic time and date adjustment is activated, the

device receives time and date information from the station

over the FM/DAB/DAB+ radio network. This is the best way

to ensure that the clock will run accurately and the alarm

will trigger at the correct time, even after power outages.

No update

The time and date (

DD-MM-YYYY

) must be set manually;

no automatic calibration takes place.

Choose between 12 and 24 hours format.
