6.2. Driving status indicators

Warning
•
Do not put down any loads, except your feet, on the
product treads. Otherwise, the driving sensors may be
activated, the product put into motion and people or
obstacles may be hit. This may result in personal injury
and damage to property.
6.3. Product operation
Hinweis
When switching on, make sure that the product is on a flat,
even surface.
The device has three operating modes:
•Beginner Mode:
This mode limits the speed to 6 km/h. The
device reacts more subtly to turning movements.
To choose the mode, place the device on the floor while
switched off. By
briefly pushing the 5 button once
, the
device will automatically adjust to the neutral position. The
device is now in Beginner Mode.
•Pro Mode: T
his mode limits the speed to 15 km/h.
Caution
Caution: the device reacts significantly more sensitively to
turning movements.
•
To choose the mode, place the device on the floor while
switched off. By
briefly pushing the 5 button twice
, the
device will automatically adjust to the neutral position. The
device is now in Pro Mode.
•Safety mode:
In the case that the motor, battery or
controller is too hot, or the battery is not charged enough,
the product will automatically switch into safety mode.
Warning
Dismount
immediately
and switch the product off, if the
following alarm signals indicate that the product is in safety
mode:
•
Flashing front LEDs
•
Red status LEDs (6.1 Figure 3, no. 3 and no. 4)
•
Product brakes automatically
•
Alarm sound
Contact the Support team (10.3) if the device unusually
switches into the alarm mode after charging.
The device is set into motion as follows:
Transferring weight onto the balls of your feet or heels
activates the movement buttons under the treads, thereby
moving the wheels in the direction of where your feet are
pressing and you move forwards or backwards. When you
lean forwards or backwards, your centre of gravity shifts and
the contact surface of the wheels (the point where the wheels
touch the ground) shifts accordingly, and the device leans
forwards or backwards, as well.
However, you have to keep balance by yourself. Otherwise,
you may tip over.
This product does not have any lateral stabilising mechanisms.
If the product is tilted far enough that the wheel loses
traction, it can no longer centre itself beneath you and you
may tip over.
You have to keep balance laterally by yourself, as well.
Therefore, always make sure that your body is aligned with the
centreline of the product.
Do not lean into turns or into slopes if you are driving across
the slope.
