OPERATING MODES
OFF MODE
• The unit displays OFF
• All outputs are off
• All LEDs remain off (except possibly Service and Fire icons)
• Statistics can be consulted/cleared using appropriate keys
• Press On/Off key to turn on system; turn on sequence is as follows:
o both fans are turned on
o when unit detects air flow, UV lamps are turned on
• If buzzer is on, Mute key disables it
ON MODE
• The unit displays ON
• Fan/UV outputs are on
• Statistics can be consulted/cleared using appropriate keys
• Press On/Off to turn off system; turn off sequence is as follows:
o UV lamp is shut off
o fans stay on for an extra 30 seconds to exhaust ozone from the duct (Low-level pro
grammable)
• If buzzer is on, Mute key disables it
VIEWING/CLEARING STATISTICS
• Two types of statistics are recorded: Total Hours Of Operation and Total Hours Since Last
Cleaning
• These are simply displayed as a number of hours. If this exceeds 999 hours, then the dis
play rounds to the nearest 10, and displays as kilo-hours, with a decimal. For example, 517
hours is displayed as 517, whereas 1517 hours is displayed as 1.52.
• Statistic is viewed by pressing either Total or Clean. Display returns to normal as soon as
key is released.
• Statistic can be cleared by pressing the Mute key while pressing the statistic key.
LOW-LEVEL PARAMETERS
The unit has a Low-level programming mode. These allow fine-tuning of various system parameters
and is intended for the OEM factory or service technicians.
To program these parameters, follow these steps:
• First make sure the unit is Off
• Press and hold the On/Off key for 20 seconds, until the 1st parameter is displayed (PO1)
• On/Off key toggles between parameter name and value
• Total and Clean keys are to be used as Up and Down keys
