Key Adaptor Modules
Key Adaptor Modules are an optional, configurable attachment for the Alfred Solenoid Controlled Guard Lock. They can be
used to provide the function of an access lock to prevent unauthorised access to a hazardous area, or alternatively provide a
personnel key function to prevent unexpected start up. Key Adaptors are available in three variations;
Access Key Adaptors
Used to prevent unauthorised personnel from opening a guard and stopping a machine. Ideally suited for authorised access
only, or linked access to other machinery that is required to be isolated before access.
Safety Key Adaptors
Used to provide a personnel key function to prevent unexpected machine start up.
Extracted Key Adaptor
Also used as a personnel key to prevent unexpected machine start up but include a forced extraction before machine
guarding can be opened.
