4. STAPLER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Charging - Safety Warnings and Instructions:
• Use only batteries specified by Halex.
• Recharge this tool only with the charger that is specifically intended for
this tool.
• Ensure that the tool is switched off before removing the battery from
the tool.
• Store a battery pack safely so that no metal parts, nails, screws, wrenches
and so on can come in contact with the battery terminals; this could result
in shorting the battery and possibly cause sparks, fires or burns.
WARNING:
Before using battery charger, read and
understand all instructions and cautionary
markings on (1) battery charger, (2)
battery, and (3) product using battery.
CAUTION:
To reduce the risk of injury, charge only Halex Battery Packs.
Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury
and damage.
1. Keep charger unplugged when not in use.
2. Do not expose charger to water including rain or
snow.
3. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by Halex may
result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4. To reduce risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by plug rather
than cord when disconnecting charger.
5. Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped
over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
6. The use of an extension cord is not recommended. Use of
improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire, electric
shock or electrocution.
7. Use only the supplied charger when charging your tool. The use of
any other charger could damage the tool or create a hazardous
condition.
8. Use only one charger when charging.
9. Do not attempt to open the charger. There are no customer-serviceable
parts inside. Return to any authorized Halex service center.
10. DO NOT incinerate the battery packs. The batteries can explode in
a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the
battery. Avoid contact since it may cause irritation or burns.
If contact occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
immediately seek medical help.
Contact with water will
cause eletrical shock.
Do NOT touch with wet
hands. Always unplug
when not in use.
