3.1.1.
Placing the in-feed conveyor in the operating or transport position
Place the in-feed conveyor in the
operating position as follows:
1.
Ensure
that
sufficient
room is available to lower
the
in-feed
conveyor
(approx. 2 m).
2.
Release the locking by
lifting latch A from shaft B
(Figure 3).
3.
Lower
the
in-feed
conveyor to the lower
position with the winch,
as shown in Figure 4.
Note! Make sure that the in-feed
conveyor’s support leg settles
properly into place.
4.
Remove cotter pin B and
pull out locking pin A
(Figure 5).
