WARNING
Injuries
Due to rotating or moving parts
Due to the open design of the motor, there is a high risk of injury.
The motor must only be operated when installed. The initial operation can only start if all
necessary protection requirements of the applicable product standards and guidelines have
been fulfilled.
CAUTION
Injuries / Damage
Due to insulation faults that were caused by transport / assembly
The electrical supply lines and the motor windings may not have any damage. If there is a
visible damage, the engine must be stopped immediately and the motor should be sent to
the manufacturer for inspection.
CAUTION
Burns
Due to hot surfaces
Even if the engine is operated within the technical specifications, it can heat up significantly.
HINT
Thermal overload
By exceeding the specified temperature limits
If the temperature limits from Chapter 3.9 are exceeded, the motor can be irreversibly
damaged.
It must be ensured that the speed controller is always connected with the temperature
sensor of the motor and reliably protects it from overtemperature.
HINT
Electro-magnetic compatibility malfunctions
Disturbance of surrounding components sensitive to EMC interference
Components susceptible to EMC interference should be as far away as possible from the
motor and the connecting cables. If this is not possible due to assembly space reasons, the
components need to be shielded by suitable measures.
