4. Maintenance works
WARNING
For maintenance operations, the power plug needs to be disconnected from the socket. The maintenance
frequency depends very much on the pellet quality (ash content) . Quality pellets have a low ash content of
approximately 0.2-0.3%. If the ash content is higher (0.5% and more), the interval between maintenances is
reduced and the accumulation of ashes increases two - threefold.
WARNING
Units that are not maintained according to our instructions must not be used. In case of neglect of
this requirement, all warranty claims lapse
.
4.1. Cleaning of the pellets container - yearly
• Heat the pellets fireplace stove until the storage tank is completely empty
.
• Then, the protective grate (3) in the pellets tank can be removed
.
• Clean the tank and the inlet of the auger housing with a vacuum cleaner
.
• It is imperative that the protective grate be refitted after cleaning. To avoid future damage to the auger,
make sure that no screws fall into the pellet tank.
