h3c” is the username, “123” is the new user password, and 

“administrator” means that it is a super user password. 

 

 

  Note: 

After being rebooted, the system starts with the default configurations, 

but the last configuration file is still saved in the Flash memory. To 

restore the last configurations, you can use the 

display 

saved-configuration

 command to display the configurations, and 

then copy and apply them. 

 

Step 4: Save the new configurations. 

[VG] save  

 

 

  Note: 

It is required to execute the 

save

 command to save the new 

password. 

 

5.7.2  When the Boot ROM Password is Lost 

Contact your agent if you have lost the Boot ROM password, so 

that support engineers will help you access the VG 31-08 to set a new 

password.
